Die Cracks: 

Die Crazing or Crazed Die

Definition: The formation of numerous fine die cracks that often intersect to form a mesh-work.  These die cracks do not portend the imminent failure of the die.

The 1943-D Lincoln cent shown below, has this die crazing on the obverse die. While the image to the left does not show all the fine die cracks, the image to the right has those die cracks highlighted in red.
