Chinese Fabricated Error Coins

My first experience with counterfeit coins from China came in September of 2009. Since that time, I have come across more than a few and the worrisome part is that the quality of work is becoming increasingly better as each year passes.

Below are some pictures of the first error counterfeit coins from China that I wrote about in FUN topics. Mostly all of the coins were fairly easy to detect as being counterfeit if you had the right equipment (scales, scope and caliper) to take some measurements. However, none were marked reproduction or copy and for the unwary and uneducated buyer these coins would be a fairly easy sell.
