Forced Broadstrike:

Definition: During the strike, if the planchet’s contact with the collar is substantial, and if the collar retains some vertical mobility, the expanding coin can force the collar all the way down. The over sized coin then takes on the appearance of a “forced broadstrike”

The 1999-P Roosevelt dime pictured below is a forced broadstrike error. The smeared reeding, beveled edge, a reverse rim and a strong cupping were generated by a transient contact with a stiff but still movable collar.
