Feeder Finger

A feeder finger is a moving machine part that delivers a planchet to the striking chamber.  It also usually functions as an ejection finger after the strike.  Through the years many different kinds of feeder fingers of widely varying shapes have been used.  Some presses use a dial feeder, which looks like the dial of an old rotary phone.
